The reproductive-stage biological

Nutri-Cycle Bloom

Turn more sunlight into bloom, fruit, and yield potential with living biology built for the part of the season that pays.

Harness light. Feed growth.

Your fertility program got the crop here. Nutri-Cycle Bloom helps it keep working.

Nutri-Cycle Bloom is a living foliar treatment made with purple non-sulfur bacteria. These microbes use light and compounds already around the plant to support in-season nutrition, natural growth signals, bloom set, and fruit development.

The practical takeaway: you are giving the crop another way to turn available energy into reproductive growth—right when every flower, pod, kernel, and fruit counts.

Rate 1–4 qt/acre

Apply at planting or as a foliar treatment.

Best window Before bloom

Target pre-flower, flowering, or early fruit development.

Crop fit Field + specialty

Corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, produce, berries, and more.

Water Protect the biology

Use well water or properly dechlorinated rural water.

The finish matters

A strong start only pays when the crop can carry it through.

Most crop programs put their energy into emergence and vegetative growth. But the reproductive window is when potential becomes harvest. Nutri-Cycle Bloom is designed to support that handoff.

01

Support more reproductive blooms

Help the plant put energy toward the flowers and reproductive sites that drive yield.

02

Feed color, sugar, and fruit quality

Microbial activity supports natural compounds tied to pigment, sugar development, and crop quality.

03

Keep nutrition moving in season

Support photosynthetic efficiency and nutrient use while the crop is building pods, kernels, or fruit.

Living biology at work

Spray it.

Sunlight powers the biology. Your crop gets reproductive support.

The science is advanced. The field idea is simple: put the right living microbes on the plant at the right time.

  1. 1

    Apply in the reproductive window

Use at planting or as a foliar spray. For reproductive support, apply just before or during bloom.

  2. 2

    Microbes work with light

Purple non-sulfur bacteria interact around the leaf openings and use light energy through microbial photosynthesis.

  3. 3

    The plant gets usable support

The biology produces plant-available compounds and natural growth signals that support bloom and fruit development.

Where Nutri-Cycle Bloom fits

One biological. Multiple ways to protect reproductive potential.

Nutri-Cycle Bloom can support broad-acre crops and higher-value specialty crops. Direct Biologicals can help you choose a rate and timing for your operation.

Reproductive support + sulfur cycling

Purple non-sulfur bacteria also participate in sulfur cycling and can help reduce hydrogen sulfide pressure.

Build the right pass

Before you mix, call us.

Nutri-Cycle Bloom contains living organisms. Chlorinated water and some crop protection products may reduce microbial activity. A short conversation can help protect the biology and make the pass count.

Time it with the crop

Best results are expected just before or during flowering and early fruit set.

Use biology-friendly water

Use well water or treat rural water with a suitable dechlorinating additive.

Check tank-mix compatibility

Some herbicides and pesticides can harm living microbes. Apply separately or confirm compatibility first.

For the science-minded grower

What are purple non-sulfur bacteria?

Nutri-Cycle Bloom uses Rhodobacter and Rhodopseudomonas. Unlike algae, these bacteria can use light without producing oxygen. They convert light and available compounds into useful proteins, carotenoids, and natural plant growth signals, including auxins and cytokinins.

They can also fix atmospheric nitrogen, assimilate carbon, and take part in sulfur cycling—giving the crop several biological pathways for in-season support.

Questions farmers ask

What to know before Nutri-Cycle Bloom goes in the tank.

How is Nutri-Cycle Bloom applied?

Apply at planting or as a foliar spray at 1–4 quarts per acre. It may be used more than once during the season, especially before flowering.

When is the best time to apply?

Target just before or during setting, flowering, and early fruit development. It can also add biological support during early plant development.

Can I mix it with pesticides or herbicides?

Use caution. Some crop protection products may harm the living microbes. Apply separately or check compatibility before mixing.

Can I use chlorinated water?

Avoid chlorinated water. Use well water or rural water treated with a suitable dechlorinating additive.

Are the bacteria the same as algae?

No. Both use light, but purple non-sulfur bacteria function differently and absorb different wavelengths. They are living bacteria with distinct roles in plant and soil systems.
